Raveyards is locked in an on-going quest to shape sound in new ways, constantly exploring new digital experiences. All these components are coming together for their first mini album, entitled KYEM, due in Spring 2016.
With KYEM the band took a musical turn into a more dreamy and visual direction. Their many different musical influences go from down tempo, ambient, experimental to darker shamanic post-desert rock. Raveyards wanted this album to be an impression of their live show without compromise. It was mixed by YUKSEK, French producer and owner of the label Partyfine. The artwork for the album is provided by renowned Belgian painter/sculptor Thomas Lerooy.
The immersive live shows, where they perform in a non-stage setup, with the audience surrounding the band, bring an experience of visuals, light and sound. Raveyards created a road show where they bring all that is needed. Played completely live (no sequencers), this is digital music in its most organic form!
Raveyards is a Belgian pioneer in virtual reality videos, with a live performance of LANK in 360 degree. Soon, more 360° videos will be released, including a live show in a church, as well as one in a dark wood, for new track CHICAGO.
The band has also developed their own conceptual nights, where they invite other bands and visual artists and have small but extraordinary art exhibitions. Those nights go by the name of GHOST.
