BRAM DE LOOZE launches new track ‘DREAM BOX’

Check the single ‘Dream Box’ HERE.

Bram De Looze is a Belgian pianist and composer whose distinct musical vision has found its way through both solo projects and collaborations. His unique technical skill and musical maturity have earned him considerable critical acclaim as his work spotlights his far-ranging interests – from traditional classical piano music but still rooted in jazz, to solo improvisations that have often been compared to Keith Jarrett and Jason Moran. On the 21st February 2020, Sdban Ultra will release his highly anticipated new solo album, ‘Colour Talk’.

Here is what Bram has to say about ‘Dream Box’, the second track shared from the album:

‘Using a Werckmeister III, a 17th century non-equal tuning system, brings a different sensation and an additional emotional layer to the sound of the music. It makes it possible to explore different colours of intervals and harmonies beyond the usual equal tuning system. After my ears have been adapting to it for a couple of years now, I can feel the impact it has on my music. ‘Dream Box’ is an example of how it makes me take different directions in writing and improvising.’
