CLOUD BOAT announce anticipated return with new single ‘CARMINE’!

Cloud Boat release their first song ‘Carmine’, taken from the highly anticipated follow-up album to critically acclaimed debut ‘Book Of Hours’ that was released in 2013 on Apollo Records. Clash, This Is Fake DIY and The 405 hailed ‘Book Of Hours’ as one of the best albums of the year.

Cloud Boat will announce the details of their second album soon, which will be released on July the 7th on Apollo Records.

‘Carmine’ is a delicate and inspiring song, delivered with profound simplicity. This stunning track from Cloud Boat’s Sam Ricketts and Tom Clarke marks a bold move forward from ‘Book of Hours’, pairing their trademark sound with a new confidence in songwriting that places this London band as one of the most exciting and talented artists in the UK. “Carmine is a journey through the mind of a childhood companion. The image of him is so old and faded that we believe he may be a figment of our imagination, but he now exists more completely as a friend and as a memory in this song.” (Tom and Sam)

Cloud Boat have just returned from a packed out European tour and series of successful shows at SXSW. They will be back for more shows throughout Europe and the UK soon.
