Milan, October 26th – Paolo Conte releases today his brand new single “Lavavetri”, which precedes the upcoming album “Live in Caracalla – 50 years of Azzurro” that will be out on November 9th via BMG. The album has been recorded live at the incredible venue of Caracallae Thermae while Paolo Conte, accompanied by an exclusive orchestra, was celebrating the 50 years of his masterpiece “Azzurro”.
Born in Asti, Piedmont, Paolo Conte is one of the most iconic Italian songwriters, acclaimed worldwide. “Lavavetri”, through the warm voice of a fictional character (lavavetri means window-cleaner in Italian), seems to describe Conte’s vision of the world.
From November 30th, “Live in Caracalla – 50 years of Azzurro” (BMG) will be available also in a 3 vinyls special edition.
