Amsterdam’s Pip Blom has shared ‘Come Home’, a new track from her upcoming Paycheck EP, released 5th October digitally with a 12” vinyl following early November, via Nice Swan Records.

Also, after cutting their teeth in support to the likes of The Breeders, Franz Ferdinand and Bodega recently; the band have announced details of their first-ever headline UK tour in November (full dates below).

The news comes after Pip Blom kicked off her 2018 with a collision of guitars in the attitude-laden ‘Pussycat’, which landed on BBC 6 Music’s A-list upon announcement. ‘Come Home’ marks the second insight into the upcoming Paycheck EP, the full track listing of which is as follows:
2.Come Home
3.The Shed

Topping up on a busy 2017, which saw a series of hooky singles Pip had previously simply uploaded to the internet hit over a million plays – bringing a sudden burst of overseas exposure with it – Pip’s numerous festival appearances and energetic, gripping live shows around the UK and Europe have solidified her as one of 2018’s rising guitar acts.

Not bad going for someone whose childhood songwriting aspiration of competing on the Eurovision Song Contest never really got off the ground (an adolescent attempt at penning a tune with her best friend, in her own words, “sucked”).

Still, pricking the ears of the likes of Franz Ferdinand, The Breeders and Garbage, all of whom have recently invited Pip to tour with them, as well as gaining spins and live sessions across 6 Music and Radio One, with plenty of Festival appearances under her belt, must all be going some way to make up for early Eurovision disappointment.
