SCARLETT O’HANNA launches second single ‘DRAMAMINE’ from new record ‘Romance Floats’!

Described as a format-killer composer, singer and producer with eclectic sensitivity Scarlett O’Hanna originates from France where she started to learn the piano at 6 and as a kid she grew up listening to The Police, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Charles Trenet and Chopin. She formed a band in 2003, Cobson, recorded one album and played mostly in France for about 7 years before splitting up. O’Hanna got noticed with minimal and mostly instrumental Cheap Bling Bling, the first EP under her name, right before leaving France in 2010. She opened for Scout Niblett, Emily Jane White or Laura Veirs and then recorded an 8-track album IMPOSTOR with Rudy Coclet in Brussels. In March 2011 Wilco invited her on a leg of their European tour as their support. While being unsigned in Europe, Cocoheart Records in Japan had released a special edition album featuring both records.

A few months ago Scarlett went back to France to record ‘Romance Floats’ in La Frette studios. Her song ‘Dramamine’ is the second extract of this new album that’s due to be released on May 16 through Pop-up records / Cargo.
