Watch ZOOT WOMAN’s new video for ‘Don’t Tear Yourself Apart’!

‘Don’t Tear Yourself Apart‘ is the first single from Zoot Woman‘s new album ‘Star Climbing’ due for release on August 29th through Embassy One, PIAS/Rough Trade. ‘Don’t Tear Yourself Apart’ is inspired by the need for hope when things feel dark. It was recorded in a similar way to ‘It’s Automatic’, minimal music, simple song, written on an old Casio synthesizer and 909 drum machine. “It’s a song for when you’re completely lost, but you’ve got someone telling you everything’s going to be alright.” (Adam Blake, Zoot Woman)

“Uwe Flade completely understood ‘Don’t Tear Yourself Apart’ both lyrically and musically. He has made a video that captures the immediacy and emotion of the song perfectly, to give it a whole new dimension. There hasn’t been a Zoot Woman video quite like this before. It was a pleasure to work with him.” (Johnny Blake, Zoot Woman)
